I need help deciding which game is better Gears of war 2 or Fallout 3 ?

I want to get a new game but i am stuck between getting Gears of war 2 or Fallout 3. I would also like for people who answer the question to give a reason for why that certain game is better. Both games are for 360 and I can get gears of war 2 for $45 or fallout 3 for $50.I need help deciding which game is better Gears of war 2 or Fallout 3 ?

Gears of war 2 doesn't come close to the length of Fallout 3.

Fallout 3 is open world. (very open world) and the graphics are very good too. It is an RPG and you can do just about anything you like in the game. I have had this game for 7 months and I have yet to do everything in the game. There is DLC extending the solo campaign of fallout 3 even longer. Unlike Fallout 3, Gears Of War 2 does have multiplayer, but I can't say I enjoyed it much. Fallout 3's huge campaign makes up for the no multiplayer. The game is very fun and you can play it for hours and not get bored of it. I could not do that with Gears Of War 2. I hope that helps.
If you're only interested in solo play, Fallout 3 for sure. It's an involved game and you can waste days on it without even touching the main storyline. Plus there are a few good add-ons which are a lot of fun (Operation Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, and Point Lookout) and will add a few hours of extra content to the game. Plus it's a game that you can go back and replay making different decisions and trying different things.



Gears of War 2 is good if you want to play online. But overall Fallout 3 is the better game.I need help deciding which game is better Gears of war 2 or Fallout 3 ?
Well for one Fallout is cheaper if your looking to save a buck.But you did not give us enough info what are you more into FPS's or driving games?It all really depends on your style if you like them both the same go for Gears 2 it has better graphics and longer gameplay
I would definitely buy Fallout 3. In Fallout 3 the game really never ends. Its like a RPG game mixed with a lot of Grand Theft Auto plus a small story boar you can follow.I mean its only 5 more dollars.I need help deciding which game is better Gears of war 2 or Fallout 3 ?
Fallout 3 the game has an amazing storyline with small quests along the way. But if you like multiplayer and blazing other players get Gears Of War 2
