Should I get fallout 3 or gears of war 2?

i have enough money to get a video game but I don't know if I should get fallout 3 or wait for gears of war 2.Should I get fallout 3 or gears of war 2?

-you can make your own weapons shooting ash trays and teddy bears

-can upgrade your skills

if you played the first part and you want a lot of action,blood and gore then get gears of war 2.

but if you like games like mass effect and fable 2 where you can effect the game and have huge maps where you can go wherever you like then buy fallout3.

They are both very good games but I would say bu Fallout 3, because it just lasts so much longer. It is huge, and it will take you quite a while to even make a dent in it, as opposed to Gears of War 2 which even though it's fun, has single player and then some relatively generic online play. Should I get fallout 3 or gears of war 2?

If I had to pick between them I would pick up Gears 2 for the simple fact that it has online.
Neither. Get Far Cry2.
it depends on what kind of games you like. if you like RPGs more than third person shooters, then get Fallout 3 but if you would rather wait for an amazing third person shooter then wait for Gears. its all up to you. but what i would do is go rent Fallout 3 and see if you like it. if you dont it was like a fifth of what you would have paid if you bought it. then go get Gears
It really depends on what you want from the games, I own Fallout 3 so here are some pros and cons of each



Fallout 3-

+ 100 hours game play

+ great adaptive storyline

+ freedom, choices that effect game play

+ free roam, cool environments

- third person view is a joke

- FPS fighting is not the best



Gears of War 2 (based on speculation and first game)

+ Good third person combat

+ Good AI

+ Intense gun battles

+ Multiplayer

- Most likely will be short

- linear game play

- no real replay value (story the same each time)

ok a load of people seem to be saying gears of wars 2 and i have no idea why i mean the game is like 4 hours long where as something like fallout 3 lasts for weeks and don't go on about the online play as i don't see what all the fuss is about yes there is a lot of blood gta taught us that was good but it won't change the world with a fancy "third person shooter" idea.



in conclusion get fallout tell xbox live to stick there stupid overpriced service and be happy



p.s. get it for pc the graphics are ten times better and there is much more content
