What game is better? Fallout 3 or Gears of War 2? ?

What is gears of wars about? ive never played it but i hear its awsome. Is it like halo? where you just go arount killing people? And what is fallout 3 like? ive never played it ether but i heard its good 2. What game is better? Fallout 3 or Gears of War 2? ?
It honestly depends on which style of game you enjoy more. It would be similar to me asking the question which movie genre do you like better: Action or Romance? They are two different movie genres and depending on your preferences every answer will vary.



Likewise, Fallout 3 and Gears of War 2 are in two different genres, and depending on if you enjoy one genre over another will depend on your answer.



If you enjoy free roaming environments that do not force you to play the game in a particular way and enjoy spending thirty hours are more in a game, then Fallout 3 is better for you.



If you enjoy a game that is short and sweet and is a fast paced action game but has extended online multiplayer modes, then Gears of War 2 is better for you.



That being said both are very well designed and excellent games. If you are a fan of no particular genre but simply of well designed games that are amazing in there own right, then I highly suggest you purchase both.

Mmmm Gears of War is Basically a Massacer, ive never played GOW 2 but ive played 1, it was awesome, not much like halo tho, different gameplay (much better), and Fallout 3 is you playing as a guy in the future where the world as we know it is destroyed and flipped upside down and you have to find your way in it.

i think fallout 3 is better, but its NOT a standard shooter, theres very heavy rpg overtones, if youre not used to that sort of thing, or if youre just not into it, then avoid fallout. its not SO rpg as to be turn-based, but everything is based on stats and odds and things like that.
Gears of War 2; Fallout 3 the walking is all funky and stuff as if they haven't paid much attention but the killing is pretty legit

Fallout 3 SUCKS! I wasted my money. Gears 2 is better, and I have not even played it yet.
